Notifier for Calendar?

I use notifier and I would like a similar feature for calendar alerts so I can get rid of the pop ups. Anything exist?

Do a search on Cydia for Popup Blocker. It's a paid app that allows you to customize which popups that you don't want to see. Calendar alerts is one of them.

I guess I wasn't clear. I am actually using pop up blocker but since I disabled the popups, I have no way of knowing I have an upcoming appointment now. That's why I wanted to see if there is a notifier type thing that will put an alert in the status bar?

Well, you could install Growl & Prowl assuming you have a Mac, then either use GriP or get Prowl (paid app) fro your Mac to push E-mail and/or Calender events to your iPhone.

I'm using Growl & Prowl on mac to push to iPhone (via Grip) on iPhone but just for E-mail, not calendar stuff, but you can enable calendar.

Doesn't your lockscreen do this or set alerts in iCal ?

Yeah, but what I want is a similar feature to notifier: it places a icon in the bar up top when you have an IM or email, etc. I would like the same feature but for calendar events..
