Notify When Left Behind Not Supported By M2 MBA?

I was trying to set up Notify When Left Behind on my M2 MBA (14.5), but the option doesn't show up in Find My on my iPhone:

It works fine with my M1 MBA:

According to this Apple Support Document: Set up and use Notify When Left Behind

Under Notifications, tap Notify When Left Behind. If you don't see Notify When Left Behind, then that device might not be supported.

So, is this feature really not supported on M2 MBA's?

Alternatively, what have I done to mess this up?
