Note MacBook

Hi i have a question maybe you know that if i scan a file in notitie through ipad or iphone that is perfect but can not open the scanned document on my macbook how could i fix it

Just get an iPhone app that takes photos and converts to .PDF’s. Scanbot is a good choice. Scanner by Readdle is also good. Then either save to Dropbox, Files, etc. or just email to yourself.

I have no idea what “notitie” is, so I can’t help you with that. Sorry.

Ah, that would be “Notes!” I didn’t realize that it wasn’t in English.

The notes app isn’t really for scanning. It’s for writing, typing, and importing to a note. My suggestion is to scan the document or take the photo with another app, then insert that scan/photo into notes.

Also, be sure that in your iCloud settings (both on the iPad and the MacBook) that Notes is checked.

I get the same message when I scan something in Notes (iOS11) and when the note appears on my Mac it is unable to be opened…

Apparently it is unsupported in MacOS Sierra… hopefully it will work after September 25 with the launch of macOS 10.13 High Sierra.

It is silly of Apple to have this not implemented with the release of iOS 11.

Yeah, it was one of those new things in iOS11 that I jumped on with a glad cry… only to discover that Apple has dropped the ball, so to speak.

Glad to hear. Thanks for the update. I haven’t updated yet, as I’m a daily user and want to be sure most kinks are worked out.
