NOVA HD players - help, I'm stuck

I just bought this game and while it is pretty cool, I'm feeling kinda foolish because I'm stuck way early in. I am in some computer terminal room with a locked door. The instructions said they will guide me to a vulnerable computer to hack, but I am seeing no guidance. Is that how the game is, or am i missing something really stupid?

I bought this game about an hour ago and I've had no problems. Are you following the arrow at the top of the screen? I just followed that and was able to successfully complete level 2.

I noticed that sometimes you have to go backwards into a previous room, go to a different door, and then keep going if the arrow is pointing you to a dead end.
