I'm on my third iPhone and I thought that this was finally the one with no defects but now I go to see some youtube videos only to find that almost every single one comes up saying "Movie could not be played" Am I going to have to go BACK to the apple store or is there a way to fix this.

I've done no hacks, perfectly legit at&t iPhone.

Sounds like a youtube problem and not an iPhone issue. I have only used youtube on my iphone once, so I can't really comment on whether it is working or not.

Hope so man, this is getting ridiculous.

Is the same thing happening to anyone else with normal phones? Is it a youtube thing at the moment?

Well the stupid problem keeps occuring. And I just realized that if I turn off wifi and try the same vids on edge they work, as soon as I turn on wifi they don't!

This is obviously a phone issue now right?

Does it not work on any WiFi network, or just your home network?

After doing some testing on my home network and another network I have determined that it is completely random. Sometimes the video will say movie could not be played. Then it will work, then 1 min. Later it won't again. On another network it's the same thing.

This is just really frustrating.

I too had this happen to me last night. I am pretty sure this is not a problem with the phone, just something wrong with youtube.
