Hi all,

I've got a iPad Mini 4 - warranty expired 2 years ago+ I think.

If the rumours are correct iOS 16 will no longer support iPad Mini 4.

I've got an offer of 20,600 yen (180 USD) from a 2nd hand store - I bought as reconditioned for 39,744 (349 USD) yen in 2017.

I should snap they're hand off right ? - I'm assuming as soon as it's known no iOS 16 support trade in values will drop like a stone.

Thanks

Well, you’d have to wait for an announcement on iOS 16 compatibility to know for sure but getting resale value now after almost 5 years of use is a good offer I guess.

Snap their hand off. I only got about ~$50 more for my Mini 5 selling it to a store (though I got cash as I didn't have anything to spend store credit on at the moment.

No additional devices have been dropped since the launch of iPad OS, so I would be very surprised if 16 didn't drop any (and Mini 4 is the least capable device that is still supported at the moment.)
