Now Playing (aka BoxOffice) updated again

Each update keeps getting better. This update includes links to the movie's IMDB page, and expanded cast and director information.

The last update was the best yet: it included upcoming movies.

This continues to be the best movie app in the store, by far.

I was checking some movies in Now Playing before the update came out and then my friend asked me who the cast was in "I Saved the King of England" but I couldn't find that out through Now playing.

I got surprised when I came home and saw that they added that feature haha.

yea I have all the different ones and I like this one the most, The only feature I want now is the ability to save CC info so that you could buy tickets through the app with a tap or two...

You don't actually buy tickets through the app itself, but rather it connects you to Fandango, where you buy them there. You can save CC info on Fandango.

What *I* would like to see is movietickets.com support for the theatres that aren't part of Fandango. I live in NYC, and most of the theatres I frequent are Fandango ones -- but for the few that aren't, it's frustrating to have to exit the app and go to movietickets.com for tickets.

i agree, one of the best apps. only thing i would like to add, is new releases on dvd. app would be absolutely perfect. but im not complaing and want to say thanks to the author for 1 of the few really good apps!

Good idea!

Write to the developer with the suggestion. He checks in here every once in a while, but he responds to e-mail very quickly.

I believe the Movies app has that feature? If the Now Playing adopts it, then I'm going to ditch Movies.app
