A lot of the features people were hoping would be exclusive to the next iPhone (i.e. Multitasking), have been included on the 4.0 software...so what are some things we haven't heard about being on 4.0, that you hope are included on the next-gen iPhone itself?

How about the ability to change and customize the sounds for IM's and email. The default sounds suck ass.

A few more physical buttons. I don't know why Apple hates buttons so much when they're extremely useful. A dedicated camera button, a dedicated iPod button and a dedicated button for app switching would come it very handy.
OLED screen, perhaps slightly bigger?
Better camera with flash.

That would probably be included in a software update, not the a new iPhone itself.

BTW has anyone ever owned a phone except for the iPhone that did not allow you to change message sounds. Seriously Apple...

You CAN change message sounds. You just can't have custom ones.

I'd like to see:

The A4 chip in the new phone
512MB RAM
improved screen (size, resolution, OLED etc)
improved camera
front facing camera
new exterior/design
powermat support (wireless charging)
fm transmitter
