Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

Now that AirPlay is coming to osx do you think there will be anything that will able to pick up and mirror the iPad and iPhone 4s on the iMac or mini hooked up to a ACD? Reason I ask is because in my bed room my ACD is my primary screen for tv ect.

Feel free to start your own rumor like the big websites do. Just cite "a source close to Apple" and have it verified by someone who works in a chinese factory or a guy with a blurry camera and you're officially a professional analyst.

Not trying to start a rumor or anything along those lines. Just curious if the possibility of wirelessly mirroring to Mac could ever be a possibility

Not exactly mirroring, but AirPlay from Mac to ATV already exists. Google.

Easy everyone. Then disregard the first post and Let me redirect and restate a new question. Is there a Mac OSX application that will allow it to be deemed as a airplay receiver such as Airplayer that will support the mirroring feature of the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4s to an iMac , MacBook pro, ect. I'm trying to mirror an iPad 2 display to a Mac not to an apple tv

Would be cool, no?

But why would you ever use it? My Mac has everything that's on my iPhone + more, and could do much more.

It would be cool to show-off or play games, but there's a delay isn't there?

I've been using Real Racing 2 mirrored to my TV via Apple TV and the delay is little to none, those developers have done a great job optimizing that game to reflect my movements from my iPad to the TV.

Nothing currently. AirPlayer will receive AirPlay video, but not mirroring.

Does your ACD have a 2nd video input (VGA, DVI, composite) that you could use with an iPad A/V cable?

Yeah for games ect I think it would be cool to be able to play games on the 27 inch screen. Practical not really but has a cool wow factor. As far as secondary inputs the ACD doesn't offer anything unfortunately.
