This isn't sports-related, but that reminded me of the "Canstruction" event I've taken part in for years. It's basically a canned food drive on steroids where teams assemble cans to make art. Here's one team's "Angry Birds" entry.

My local Tesco had a row of Celebrations and Roses chocolate tins stacked across an aisle reading "MERRY CHRISTMAS". It was 11 tins high and each character took up to 9 tins across, with 2 tins between each character.

It's all estimates but that's 1,584 tins. Each with 855g of chocolates. It was monstrous.
