Nsurlstorage?? Cpu @99%!!

Hi guys,

Since yesterday my macbook started getting quite hot when I
was just surfing the web, or typing some stuff for school.
Also my battery lasted for only 2 hours.

So i checked my activity monitor, and there appears this 'app' called
nsurlstoraged.

It uses constantly 96%-105% off my CPU.

I forced it to stop a couple of times, but after a minute or so, it 'restarts'
itself...

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Quit Safari then triple click the text below then right click and select reveal in Finder. Now drag the com.apple.Safari folder to the trash. Then restart Safari and see if the issue goes away.

~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari

It is normal to have that in activity monitor, but it should not be chewing up CPU cycles like yours was. Probably a corrupted Safari cache file that got deleted by doing that I suggested.

yeah I was only looking at the 10 processes at the top, but when I scroll I
can see it at 0.3%
