macOS NSWindow Backcolor

I realized how this is to be done soon after I put this post 
... However I am not able to do the same for NSTabView.... Checked the documentation and realized that NSTabView does not have the setBackgroundColor function. Any ideas how I can set the backcolor for the NSTabView ?
