Hi all,

I have recently bought an iMac (which I LOVE!!) but I have a slight issue which I need some help resolving.

Basically, I have a USB external disk with an NTFS partition on it. I need to be able to transfer the disk between my Windows laptop and the new iMac but at the moment, while I can read/write in Windows, I can only read in OS X. Question is, how do I set the NTFS permissions to allow write access from OS X? Or, do I need to reformat the disk with FAT partition (hopefully not!)?

Any advice would be appreciated!

JT.

You are going to need Mac-Fuse and NTFS-3G. OS X cannot natively write to NTFS.
