Number / Digit Keyboard?

Does anyone know a way to get just a number/digit keyboard to pop up instead of a keyboard with letters?
 
I think it’s an app-controlled feature. An app has to be coded specifically for a numeric keyboard. For a good example, see Apple’s Numbers app.
