number one reason I hate the virtual keyboard

Dude, that's the actual devices fault.
And if you're talking about when you're typing something and on the internet then it's Safari's fault.
The only thing I hate is sometimes when I touch the backspace it will delete everything instead of just one character.

O dude I have the same problem sometimes. I'll backspace then all of sudden it won't stop . It pisses me off so bad
To stop it I normally touch another key.
By the time that happens it usually deletes half of what I typed but it's better than the whole thing.
Hmm.. first time I noticed the lag. I don't type that often... but still. I hope Apple will fix the lag in 2.2 firmware.
You do know that you can enable Caps Lock in the keyboard settings, and then just hit shift twice to use it, right?

But yeah, that really isn't the keyboard's fault, it's something to do with the app itself.
I stumbled across that one day. Wish I had stumbled over it sooner.
Just remember to press shift twice quickly.
