I do not know about you but in my experience Number and Pages just do not render as well on IOS when compared to Microsoft's IOS apps. Microsoft's apps have more features and render much better on the smaller screen. Because of these limitations I avoid using Numbers and pages on my iPhone XR but strictly for my MacBook pro. Anyone else?

I feel Numbers and Pages work very well on my iPad Pro because of the screen size. I wouldn't attempt to use them on my iPhone though. And even though I've recently switched to Microsoft 365 for new work projects. I still wouldn't use Word or Excel on my phone either.

Yeah I don't know why Excel and Word render much better on the iPhone over apples apps.

Like Namara I've really never used any office apps on my phone. And only very rarely on my iPad either. But I love Pages on macOS, especially because it understands LaTeX for math

What exactly do you mean they render better though?

My documents appear much nicer on the smaller screen and Ms office apps have more features anyways.

Sure, sure, but how do you mean that they appear nicer? Does it look like they render at a higher resolution? Are we talking sub pixel rendering stuff? Or are you essentially talking page-layout? And are you opening MS Word documents in Pages?

Though Office may have more features I've never found anything lacking from iWork (that is, after the jump from classic iWork to iWork 5 there were things missing for a while, but my usage is covered again) and as mentioned before, LaTeX support is just the best thing; Something I don't think Word has

I can’t explain. You will need to try it out yourself. All I can say is that excel docs appear better on the smaller screen than numbers docs in numbers on the smaller screen.

I agree with @casperes1996 about the features for Pages and Numbers. What Microsoft 365 features are you using on your phone that aren't included in iWork apps?

I guess perhaps it's just subjective then. Working on an Excel or Numbers doc on a phone is an exercise in frustration. Are you viewing only or actually editing documents on your phone?

like I said you need to try it out yourself as I have a hard time explaining.
Well, hang on. You said you preferred M365 because there's more features. So which features are you talking about?
