Hello,

Just wondering, is there anyway to have numbers automatically generate pages?

I have a massive spreadhseet, each row contains information on a different element. I can work eith the spreadsheet for data manipulation. However when it is time to present this information, I use have to use a different sheet.

I’ve set this sheet up so, all I need to do is enter the entrys number. Then formulas in the sheet look up the correct row and present it in a nice user friendly page.

However, I might have to present two-thousand entries. This is way too much to do manually. Is there anyway to get numbers to automate this? Generating multiple pages across a range?

If it is what I think you mean - link in data from other tabs in a workbook. Then in the tab you want the data in you click on the cell and type in =. You then copy the data cell or into the cell next to the equal sign.,

It will then automate the data and any changes that might happen to data in the other tab.

Hi,

Yep, I have part one down, linking and presenting data from the other table. It’s just the range.

At the moment my solution is, I have 50 blank presentation sheets. I can quickly plug the required numbers into them, export as a PDF and there it is. This works, but jumping from 50 to 2000 is steep.
