I wouldn't expect so. I've had an ATV2 for 18 months, and for as long as I've owned it it has briefly woken up every fifteen minutes or so. I think (but don't know) that the Apple TV wakes up in order to renew/maintain its Bonjour registrations (for AirPlay and Bonjour Sleep Proxy).I wonder if this has anything to with the new appleTV waking up all the time.
It can't be bonjour. With apple routers, that task can just be passed to the router.

Source: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3774With Wake on Demand enabled, your Mac will occasionally wake for a brief time, without lighting the screen, in order to maintain registrations with the Bonjour Sleep Proxy. On some Macs, sounds from the optical drive, hard drive, or fans may be heard during these brief periods.
