I have a sheet where column 1 has dates and the rest of the row is empty. Twice a day I put entries into the rest of the row. Sometimes when I open the sheet the data on the last row I entered is gone. But not the dates in column one.

Ideas? Is there a proper way to save the sheet before closing the app?

On the iPad. Sheet is old and has a name. Disappearing data happens randomly.

If there is a Save function where is it? In Excel there is the floppy icon that saves but leaves the sheet open. Don’t see something like that in Numbers.

As I mentioned and in the support article link, Numbers on ipadOS auto saves. There is no manual save command like there is for the macOS version. I would test by maybe leaving the document open for a few minutes after pasting in your data to see if it auto saves.
