Good afternoon,

Very sorry to bother you, would it be possible for any UK uni students to tell me the price difference between NUS and that of the Higher Education store for the macbook.

I thought that they were the same but on another forum a user commented saying that the NUS discount isnt as much as the Higher Education - could be aload of BS but since I have access to neither at the momemt I dont know.

Luckily dads doing an open uni course so get him to sign up for a Nus card if the discount is bigger than the discount i can get from being at High School and using the Apple Store for Education (damn i wish i could buy from Higher Education store.)

Many Thanks

Andy

I'm in Uni and have an NUS card and the discount for me is the same.
i've heard it can differ dependant on your course.
but i'm doing multimedia course and the tutor advice on computer set ups is "You Need A Mac"
So I figured our course would get a bigger discount if anyone should.

but yes, as far as i'm aware it's all the same *shrug*

MacBook 1.83 GHz

UK normal 749.00
UK education 703.83
UK HE 643.90
NUS 643.90

They don't ask what you do at the HE store, so I'm not sure how that would work.

Thanks

Thank-you very much, hopefully this august I may order a Macbook once the heat problems are ironed out - providing a new revision is out then
