I have a friend with an ASUS (Nvidia GTS 360M 1024mb GDDR5), and I wanted to know how that performance would stack up with an AMD 6750M with the same amount of VRAM.

Any estimates or experienced views on the contrast between these two graphics cards?

Love a response,

E.

of course, NVIDIA 360 GTS is way better. AMD 6750M is not even high end graphic card. it's middle class. that's why macbook pro (even new) is never good gaming machine or nothing.

That's incorrect. The new macbook pro is very capable machine for games while still maintaining a balance between battery and performance.

If you want the highest end gaming laptop then go get a different laptop that is two inches thick and a 30 min battery life.

That's what my friend has and the Apple lines have always been more appealing to me. Apparently, the 6750M scores higher in benchmarks than the GTX 285, so that's heartening. I suppose I better stop comparing and just live with the fact that this GPU can handle modern games on high res with great settings.
