Are there benefits to installing drivers from nVidia versus leveraging those released included by Apple in MacOS, or is this just for the Cuda functionality?
I really only play Cities Skylines on my Mac and get a major graphical improvement and an extreme reduction of related crashes with the Cuda drivers. It's a Unity game, I believe, so by my POV it seems like it is worth it.

Given that the CUDA driver does not install a new graphics driver and that unity is not using CUDA, I find this quite puzzling. Maybe changes in GPU power management?
Good to know and I am unsure, but after pre/post installation things were drastically different. But always could have been something unlucky with a conflict bottling my performance elsewhere and then some system operation indirectly helped, but eh
