Good morning to all i just wanted to ask for some help am getting the following message when i try to update my nvidia driver

Error Message: http://prntscr.com/1vf6lh

My computer info:
Processor - 2 x 2.4 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon
Memory - 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2048 MB
Software - OS X 10.8.5 (12F45)

This problem is caused by the Apple 10.8.5 supplemental update.

The nVidia 10.8.5 web driver works fine with Mac OS X 10.8.5, but it breaks after the installation of the 10.8.5 supplemental update over the Mac OS X 10.8.5 update.

This is the reason, why you can not install the 313.01.03f01 web driver. The nVidia driver panel switches back to the built in 10.8.5 driver (310.40.00.10f02). For most people the Apple supplied driver works fine. So this should not be a immediate problem.

I guess that nVidia will release an updated 10.8.5 driver soon. So the only option you have is showing a little patience.

Yes, 10.8.5 broke compatibility. See here and look for posting #17.
Thanks for the help i guess ill just be patient and wait :D

Nvidia's latest drivers do not yet support the latest OS 10.8.5 Supplemental Update. Look Here:

And for the life of me, I can't figure out why Apple decided to call this OS update 10.8.5, Supplemental Update and not 10.8.6. Apparently there was enough of a change to cause video drivers to stop working. And it's already causing confusion:confused:
