Hello everyone, i got my 2009 mac pro in my hands yesterday, upgraded the RAM to 32gb, put my GTX 680 in and added my spare SSD.

I went to install the nvidia driver and upon going to install it said it wasnt supported. The only available download on there site (as of thursday night at 10pm est) was 10.9.4.....Do i REALLY need the nvidia drivers?

You will need it if you use CUDA programs.

CUDA drivers is available for 10.9.5 and afraid you have to wait for web drivers for 10.9.5.
