From what I can tell the k5000 is supposed to be Metal 2 compatible, yet my close friend is having problems with his in his Mid 2010 6core. He was running Mavericks, no trouble there. When he runs Mojave, he said it 'skips' every five seconds or so. He showed me a screen shot of his computer and there appears to be a driver updater software called 'Cuda' and it says it needs to be updated, but there is no update for Mojave. Which leads to my next point, I thought Mojave CONTAINED those needed drivers? Thanks for any direction!

If removing and uninstalling all NVIDIA Web Drivers and CUDA drivers and you still have issues, try clean install on a spare drive. Can also check what kext is being used/loaded in system info (about this mac).

Also confirm BootROM version, some users with K5000 weren’t able to update firmware correctly, but believe they all tried TITAN at some point and had corruption.
