A potential sale to Nvidia or another company would not likely have a major impact on Apple or Apple's licensing of Arm technology because of the regulatory oversight and requirements that would accompany such a deal.

NVIDIA could buy them, but they’d see little benefit.

I’m fairly certain they’ve consistently take ARM designs and stamped them out next to their GPUs for cars.

I don’t think anyone can argue that NVIDIA does great work with GPUs. But how does doing this help them in the one ARM market they are in? That’s chips for cars.

If NVIDIA had any interest in something custom they’d do more than just license a core design.

Who knows. Maybe I’m wrong. NVIDIA benefits more from ARM being standalone far more than Apple.

Apple would be fine. Would its mean their architectures might line up better for a team up? Who knows... We pray.

And with that, I seem to have graduated to 65816 :)
