Hello guys.
I have an upgraded Mac Pro 4.1 flashed to 5.1
Upgraded the graphic card with Nvidia Quadro K2000D and running Mojave.
Quadro K2000D is running just fine, but i don't see the Disk icons when trying to boot from another drive.
I think an EFI64 ROM is needed here.

Can someone help me with such rom ?

Have an external Flasher for all kind of EPROM Chips, so i can backup and flash ROM chip externally.

Thanks

Quadro K2000D is not self-flashable and don't have a public ROM available, but since it's a card that uses a variant of GK107 and is practically a GT640, probably someone can adapt the EFI part of eVGA GTX 680 Mac Edition to it.

Thanks for the Info. I know, that one guy has alredy done it and sell this "ready made" cards on ebay. I asked him, if he can share/sell the full dump of the cards Flash, so i can flash it at home extrenally via SPI.

I attach 2 rom Images from Nvida Quadro K2000D. One from 2012 and another, a bit newer from 2013.

Maybe someone can add the EFI Poart to it. This would be great.

Well, if you can use an external flasher try the GT640 rom. In my case I just needed a 2nd GPU to flash my quadro back after bricking.

I can write the rom also externally so I was an hero and gave it a shot...

Only flash if the ROM have exactly the same memory type and manufacturer as the board. GT 640 ROMs have DDR3 and DDR5 type versions and at least 3 different memory manufacturers.

Thanks guys. I think, i will buy the K2000D from this ebay guy, dump the ROM and than flash 2 other quadros i have.
I think its a best solution. It was a problem to make a decision: Invest money or invest time :)

I bought the rom file from the ebay guy. He created Mac EFI ROM File, but its bigger than the PC Quadro ROM Chip. So Quadro K2000D can be flashed but you need to solder bigger EEPROM chip

Hi friends. I have mp 3.1 and high Sierra in it and installed today Nvidia Quadro k2000d, but there is no graphic acceleration. How u work on it? I don’t care about boot menu on it but I want to work comfortably. Any ideas?
