Good day.

I have installed Plextor M9PeY 256Gb in my Mac Pro 5.1 with Mojave 10.14.3. But drive is not visible in disk utility, device is visible as PCI-E.

After doing some research, i have found that device should be formated with 4k sector size. I have done it in Linux (LiveCD is show as 4096), but still OS X cant see it as a disk...

Can you please point me in right direction, what should i else do?

Thank you

Some Plextor drives are know to be incompatible with macOS. High Sierra and Mojave supports both 512bytes/sector and 4Kbytes/sector sector sizes, so this is not your problem - Sierra supports only 4K/sector ones.

The Blade thread has at least one user with a Plextor drive that did not work with macOS: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/blade-ssds-nvme-ahci.2146725/#post-26641526

Is there any patch or something else that could help to make it work with 10.14.3?
