Obviously the Apple Store will get the most iphones, but do you think the 5th ave store would get a much larger shipment than the SOHO store? I took off work on friday and was planning on making it over there around 7 or 8am. I'm starting to get worried and want to be sure I get a phone that day. Anyone camping on Thursday night? Which store are you planning on going to and when? Pillows anyone? Or just pull the all nighter?

If you are worried about the amount of people showing up in NYC why not try doing some research and traveling upstate to a less popular area and try getting it. You might have better luck or just get there really early.

I am certian 5th Ave will have overnighters. I am prety certian SOHO will too. Then again, I dont live there... but I am pretty confident.

I'll probably be at work fairly late on Thursday, and unfortunately don't have/need a car in NYC. If sleeping overnight doesn't secure me one...there will be a ton of pissed off people on Friday.

The 5th Ave. location has a nice area (clean, open concrete surrounding with pond/water fountains (??) and Central Park across the street. It's ideal for an overnight. Not to mention that it's a 24-hour store...hmm. I wonder if they'll limit the amount of folks who can 'hang out' indoors overnight. If I were to camp, I'd rather camp indoors.
