Just wondering who has and likes their nylon band? I am thinking about getting one as I have the standard silicone one.

I'm just hoping to get some opinions and thoughts before buying one.

Thanks!

The Advantage to the nylon band, is they are very durable, lightweight and breathable. If you compare it to the regular sport band, your wrist won’t trap moisture like it does under the sport band, the downside to the nylon sport band, is that if they do get wet, you do want to thoroughly dry it out, as mildew could set in, but I have not had that problem. Altogether, the nylon band is very comfortable.

Third-party nylon bands are pretty cheap. You can always buy one of those, decide if you like it, then upgrade to the official Apple band.

Sport Loop bands are my favorite because they are the most comfortable, infinitely adjustable, not limited to a few holes. I started with cheap knock-offs from Amazon and wasn’t happy with the inconsistent fit of the watch connections, some were very loose. Bought some for my wife and they fit her 38 mm watch fine, so it’s apparently hit or miss with cheap band tolerances. I bought an Apple one that fits the watch perfectly and received a Nike one for Christmas that fits just as well. Highly recommend. The only issue I have is when wearing a long sleeve shirt with tight cuffs because the band is a little too bulky so I switch to a cheap knock-off Milanese Loop band bought earlier, but then I miss he Sport Loop comfort and quickly switch back.

I really like the Sport Loop. It is lightweight, comfortable, breathable and just gets out of the way. For the most part, I don't even notice I am wearing it. But I do also like the fact that it is reflective at night. Any extra added visibility is welcome.

First generation I hated. The last two color releases were nicer, more comfortable.

The were nice in the summer for sure.

I wish Apple would have considered keeping them and offering white and black connector to better coordinate with the watch
