NYT puzzle problem in iOS16.2

IPhone13MaxPro/iOS16.2:

There is a puzzle that I was sent via a NYTimes email today. I clicked the email which sent me in Safari to the NYTimes website, connecting me to the puzzle. The puzzle asked me to identify photo portraits by names, however, only a tiny blue logo showed on each place for a photo.

I copied the website address and opened the NYTimes website in Safari in macOS 13.1. All the portraits showed perfectly.

What have I not turned on, or need to shut off in iOS16.2?

Nevermind, they must have turned something on at their end this morning. I see images now. Wonder if I didn’t have permission to view at their end. Bet I wasn’t the only one.
