I'm giving away a few iTunes Gift Cards, and this is your chance to win one. I hope this is the right forum, it doesn't really belong in the promo code section.

Instructions:
  1. Download Obliteration HD Lite for the iPad [Link]
  2. Play all 5 Levels
  3. Take a Screenshot of the Stats page [example]
  4. Post your screenshot here for others to see if you want (you may post multiple times)
  5. Email the screenshot to admin at howihatethenight dot com (you may enter once). This will be your official entry

The winner will be the person with the highest total 'high score':

Also, I am sorry that the picture is sideways... Not sure why I can't get it to take photos portrait in this game.

the initial goal is to keep the white line below the red threshold.

On average I am getting about 1K points per bomb... I still haven't figured out how the scoring system works exactly. And considering this is a contest... most people aren't looking to close the odds by helping other participants with the mechanics of the game.

I'll post what I find later tonight.

Edit for my high score. I am averaging about 2k per bomb. With the exception of two games. One recorded at over 15k and one that got to 25k... But I didn't get below the red line at the end.

Gonna keep trying to see if I can reproduce the same results. Good luck everyone!

I think I need an instructions page in the game :) I'll get that in with the next version.

For scoring, there are bonuses that add on to the basic scoring method. The goal is to get the white line (the city hight line) under the red line (the hot zone line). Score is calculated by how far the building pieces move from their original starting location, and then again from how far they move from where they rest.

For example, if you knock a building across the screen, and then somehow get it back to where it started, your score is calculated as if you knocked it across the screen twice.

You can also get bonuses:
1. When a building is knocked off screen you get a bonus
2. You also get a bump by how high you knock a building piece, the higher the better.

Hope that clears things up. :)

I'd also love to get a few reviews in iTunes, the lite version only has a few.


Features coming in the next version (both free and lite):

1. Zombies on the ground to play with
2. A wind system that will affect how the bomb drops
3. New Buildings
 
I made a mistake in the prizes, aparently iTunes doesn't sell $5 gift cards. So, first place is now a $20 gift card, 2nd place is a $10 gift card, and 3rd place is a few promo codes for my games once I have them.

Do you think by chance you can post what the leading score is?

Edit: you might wana edit the title to reflect the change in prizes. Might entice more people :)
