...switching from D750 raw file to file still has loading and stuttering, and zooming in and out of a photo still has a brief stuttering with or without GPU enabled....I don't know what to blame: iMac or Adobe.

If it's not slow with Aperture, Pixelmator, Capture NX2, etc the fault is with Adobe.

I need to try some other softwAre out. I'm also dissappointed and made a near same switch. Adobe is making me regret the expensive new machine!

Capture One is great software, Id switch to it in a second if I could find out to move a photo with capture one edits to PS. Every time I tried, the photo would show up in PS without the edits.

Today I played with Photoshop..

I took an image I adjusted in Lightroom and applied several layers of adjustements in Photoshop, mostly skin retouching and color adjustments, I then grouped the layers into folder to hide/unhide from the backgorund layer to see the effetcs..

While on this iMac doing that (hide and unhiding the Folder) takes on average more 1 second, maybe 1.5 on my 6 years old macbook pro is instantly..

This is simply RIDICULOUS!!!

Same file btw

What the heck is going on? How is this even possible? Im wondering like crazy how a photoshop would behave under a windows machine with similar specs and a 4-5K monitor..
