I had a spare set of airpods (long story) and so decided to open them today to try them out - they were originally for someone else.
Now, I seldom use headphones, except for Skype calls at work (EarPods and windows laptop) and when in bed if I want to watch something and my partner is also present.
I have never owned wireless headphones or felt the need to buy them but what attracts me to the Apple ones is the simplicity of connecting and charging them. I thought this might mean I would be more inclined to use them and listen to music more.
Today after a long walk using the headphones, I felt one side falling out constantly. This really made me uncomfortable wearing them outside - I would probably never wear them outside again.
That leaves me with using them in the house when I'm stationery e.g. In bed. I used them for a couple of hours this afternoon on the bed and they never came loose.
My theory on using them more often here is that normally my headphones are tucked away and tangled in a drawer and is often a barrier to me consuming some online media.
I love the sounds quality and simplicity but the fitting has now limited my options.
I know I should send them back but I really want them, it's just hard to justify!
Anyone?
