Hello, I need your help with finding out the cause of occasional system (or maybe app) freezes on my MBP13". The other day I was doing a gig with a Traktor DJ app, and suddenly my MBP just froze. Had to do a force-shutdown to get it out of the freeze state. As you might image, that's simply not acceptable while performing a gig! The other time the same freeze happened while watching YouTube videos. So not cool! Tried to find some .crash logs via the Console app, but could not find any for the dates and times the freezes actually happened. Any other ideas as what could be the real culprit behind these freezes?

SMC/NVRAM reset is worth a shot.

Hardware Test.

You could also do a reset and fresh install and verify the stability with a clean system. If it's reliable when it's clean you know it's not a hardware issue, it's software related.
