Since installing 10.2.8 I have noticed occational clicks in my speakers, I thought maybe they were faulty, so I unplugged the speaker cord from the back of my Power Mac and the occational clicks have stopped.

I only noticed this since updating to 10.2.8, the clicks are every few minutes and sound like a static click.

Machine is PowerMac G4 FW800 Dual 1.25GHz

Any ideas?

Thanks

Neil

I see this problem is mentioned for the ibook and 10.2.5 and 10.2.6 on the internal kbase articles.

Interested if anyone else has noticed this, is very annoying.

thanks

Neil

10.2.8 was supposed to fix this problem on the iBooks (and it did fix it on mine), but not introduce the problem on desktops! That might be yet another reason why Apple pulled 10.2.8.
