Hi all,

I want to transfer the black titanium buckle from ocean band to another ocean band that came with a natural titanium buckle and loop to match my Black Ultra. Loop no problem but can't figure out how to remove the buckle itself. Doesn't seem that it opens up in a similar way as loop.

Don’t think you can do that. I had a broken ocean band once and tried, unsuccessfully.

Interesting! Thanks for reply, but how do they install the buckle in the first place then? I don't think the buckle installed on half band and then band is glued in or something. I might be wrong but there must be a way to remove it without damaging the band....strange

See this thread I had created with photos, as I said, I tried to get the buckle out but couldnt

OH WOW! That is not good, the band snapping like that is something of a concern. The ocean band is my top favorite and the most comfortable out of all bands. Sorry it happened to you but glad you didnt loose the watch and got a new one on warranty! So probably the band glued right at the place where yours snapped and when its glued they install the buckle therefore it's non removable...oh well, no biggie, I like the natural gray titanium buckle color too, since its matches perfectly the back of the black ultra, which is grayish color too, but not the top.

Yea, this was the band that came with my original Ultra, got U2 with the orange paceman band a year later and also have the blue and the midnight ocean band, only wearing ocean bands.
I think I tossed that band a few months ago when we moved, maybe not, can’t remember
