Hi,
I recently succesfully installed sonoma 14.7 on my macmini 2102, everything works fine except for my RME Fireface400 firewire card.
I installed latest driver from manufacturer and authorized it in privacy settings.

Audio card is connected to firewire 800 port, it works fine until Totalmix (its own mixer software) and Fireface settings (its control panel) launch at login, or when I open my DAW, then the card get disconnected and a red led lights up indicating that card can't communicate with host.

When I close control panel and totalmix or DAW everything gets fine again

Audio card work perfectly with High Sierra on another Mac, manufacturer says that driver fully supports Sonoma.

Is there any configuration with oclp I could try?

Thx a lot to everyone who can help!!!

Hi,
very thanks for your answer.

I actually tried reinstalling several times, I tried to re-authorize too using kmutil trigger-panic-medic but nothing of this helped.

Audio card works better just after driver installation but after reboot it get lost and get worst every reboot.

Please help!!!

Thanks a lot.

P.S. I need a newer MacOS version because wih High Sierra many applications are not working anymore....

Hi everyone,
I read something about a DMAR Table Fix, I was considering to give a try.

Does anyone know if and how can it be done on Macmini 6.2 (2012) with OCLP?

Many thanks.

"Macmini 6.2 (2012) with OCLP?"

(sigh)

Might be time to think about upgrading your hardware.
Have you considered (at least) a 2018 Mini ...?
