Have installed OPCL on it and had Sonoma.
The computer was crashing on me, I suspect after installing temp monitor software.

I booted off of 10.12 installer and erased the disk.
Downloaded OPCLP and I continue to see message that the build created is for Mac mini. It tells me to reinstall for correct build over and over again.

System firmware 430.120.6.0.0
OS Loader version 540.120.3-6
SMC version 2.20f18

Ideas?

System firmware 430.120.6.0.0

Two years old BootROM with several reports of crashing with GPU drivers. Install Monterey and upgrade to 481.0.0.0.0.

Anyway, use OCLP installer and change the install target to your Mac Pro.

I reinstalled Monterey second time (now from internet recovery) and was still getting this error.
Reset NVRAM and after that was able to install OCLP OK (not displaying the error).

I'll check what firmware version it has now.

I can confirm it has the new firmware now.
Weird, as it had 10.12 before and then OCLP before.

Glad this is resolved.
