I think this is what people have been clamoring for since the beginning of time. A Mac Mini with a decent video card, and a few more ports. A headless iMac of sorts.

But I don't have any faith whatsoever of this coming out anytime soon.

The Mac mini getting bigger? I can't say I agree with that, given that Apple likes making things smaller.

But if so, that'll appease the midtower proponents. :D

Honestly, this sounds like a nice out-of-the box thought. I really adored the fact that they brought out the Mini. It came at a time when a few people I worked with were paying me a great deal of money to go fix what the Geek Squad screwed up on their PCs. They always asked me what I used and when I would tell them it was "oh that is way too pricey for me!" The Mini came and like it was never an issue a few of them purchased.

They don't seem to care about the lack of updates like we all do, but I wish Apple hadn't abandoned the updates. To me it either says they're arrogant enough to think the specs are acceptable to the target audience (which they must be as I've seen people buy them even as recent as a week ago), or they simply tapped into a market (iPhone) that has them so overwhelmed it is impossible to really focus on their bastard children.
