Nice !! I usually like the 1 month later reviews of the pros running their stuff , will keep an eye on Octane results , Blender will also be great to see once 3.1 is released (December I read somewhere) with native Metal support.

You get a 1 year free license for Octane if you buy a mac, anyone with a new M1 Pro/Max can get it and test it!

Hi all,

Otoy have now released Octane X PR12 with support for M1 Pro/Max (requires MacOS12):

Octane X PR12 for M1 Pro/Max and MacOS12

It would excellent if anybody with an Octane subscription and M1 Pro and M1 Max could take it for a spin and report back.
Let's see if that M1 Max 32 GPU throttles under max load!
Hello mate!

I recently put a video about installing as a couple people had reached out asking on how to install PR13 as it wasn't working for them. I have a 32 GB M1 Max and Octane is currently working like a dream! Noticeably faster liver viewer and a lot less crashes in my 2 weeks of pushing it (probably about 2 compared to the 30 I would usually get). If you have any more questions please let me know!

Here's that video I was on about should you want to install it :)
