Hello, everyone! I am new to this forum, hope I’m in the right place for a this question.

So, I have a MacBook Air M1 and I’ve installed Octave 6.2.0 GUI, but I have a small issue.

When I double click a “.m” file, it does nothing. I have set Octave as the default program for “.m” files, but with no success. On Windows, double clicking the “.m” file would have opened Octave in the “Code Editor” tab.

I can manually open “.m” files from Octave’s file browser, but it’s inconvenient compared to how it worked on Windows.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks a lot!

Matlab works, but Octave feels a bit quicker and I don’t have huge projects (only school stuff).
