Hey there,

Just thought I would start a thread for those of us who were slow to order. I wasn't going to order this year but changed my mind on friday and have an Oct5-12 delivery date. Mine is in "Preparing to ship" mode. Will update when it changes. I am hoping it gets here before the 3rd since I leave town for a few days then. Anyway, happy upgrade time of year everyone!

Ill join. I have a launch day delivered XS bought through the IUP.

I went into the Apple Store yesterday and upon seeing the XS Max I decided to go back to a giant phone again after going to a 6 plus, then down to a 7, then over to a iPhone X. Got the XS and it's fine, but the XS Max seemed worth a try, plus freshens up the experience on a year with relative minor externals update.

Long story shorter... went in, they wrangled one for me from the "reserved but not picked up today" pile and then hit a wall because ATT's activation server wouldn't allow me to activate the new phone. The only solution was to order another one online and have it shipped to me, and then the manager would make sure (even if it was after the 14 days) that I could return it, all fees would be waived/refunded etc.

So... I'm waiting for my 2nd iPhone this month. Here we go, bring on that UPS app!

Woke up to a notice that mine has shipped. Currently UPS only shows a label being created but the email states that the phone should be here October 1 now. Happy Days.

Just to add to the fun, according to my Apple Store order status, my 256GB SG Max should be here on Thursday. Not bad considering the original delivery window was October 5-12. UPS is still clearing through customs but honestly as long as I get it before next Wednesday, I will be happy as it can accompany me on my trip to St. Louis next week. haha

Hey I just checked. Mine says Thursday also. Might be an issue (#firstworldproblems) but my case and screen protector won't be here by then.
