October 6: Surface Pro 4 and new MS phones!!

Looking forward to the Microsoft even on 10/6. Surface Pro 4, and Lumina 950/950xl being announced. Figured the 3 of us who are excited should have an official thread. I'm not quite as excited about the phones, still waiting for an official surface phone, but they do have top notch specs and the ability to use the XP as a full windows PC is exciting.

I'm MUCH more looking forward to the SP4. Its rumored not to change much from the SP3, but if they could make it a bit thinner and increase battery life I'd be happy. I'd also take a 14" SP4, that's one of the many rumors floating around.

The surface pro 4 will be the killer of the show. More specifically the iPad Pro killer!!. The Lumia is an embarrassment, it looks exactly the same every year. I could care less about specs since Windows 10 Mobile is more simple the iOS 9. The only Lumia that somewhat excited me was the 1520. The only Lumia with a 6" FHD display, A true beast.

I read about some retina scanning lock function on one of the new Lumia devices. I saw Surface Pro 4 rumors for months. About time, right? As for the Surface 3, would they replace it so soon after it was just released in May 2015? I certainly hope not tbh. I have 30 days to return mine regardless, but I am using the Surface on a trial basis at this point. I really like it, but prefer my MBP for class. The keyboard felt too compact on the Surface. My 13" MBP is more spaced out.

The Surface 3 was released May 2015. Can't see a new one being released yet. I love mine!

Good to see the Surface Pro 4 tho. I'll watch the Windows phone for my wife, she has the 930 and loves it as an ex iPhone user. I'm an Android/iOS hopper. Mainly Android tho.

MS Surface Pro 4 will be a great Windows 10 hybrid!!

But i am happy with my Windows 8 tablet Acer Iconia W700(I5 Core) for a least 2 more years!
