Tim is slipping. He failed to mention both release dates for MacOS and IOS 13. I miss the days when Apple treated computing with respect. Now its nothing more than a silly afterthought.
iOS 13 (and iPadOS) will be released September 19. Catalina just says "Coming in October".

you mean, in an event that was not about the mac & iphone oses? people complain about anything, and everything...

To be fair, last year (or the year before) they announced the Mac OS Update on a screenshot in the iPhone release event.

You make no sense. Would you not expect expect them to mention release dates at least for IOS 13 and iPadOS since this event actually covered both products? And guess what, it's never stopped them in the past from providing MacOS release date as well. The only dates Tim provided were dates people could spend money.

Furthermore, just when would they announce it then? I seriously doubt Apple is going to have a special event to announce the OS. It would be some stupid PR but seeing how crappy this beta has been, it would simply be par for the course.

you don't give the company much credit; they make these incredible products, but they're not doing what you want at the event? and that's an issue worth posting about?

It's probably going to be released when the MacBook Pro 16" model is introduced.
That may become the first Mac to be truly "64-bit only"...
