So what do you think of that? Do you think they will plan an additional event this year?

We did not hear anything about AirPods 2 and also nothing about the Airpower (beside the fact that all hope is already lost...)

Do you have any news on that? The last October Event was two years ago so there might be a chance.

AirPods 2: A big maybe. It would've made more sense, I believe, to announce them with the iPhones and unless there is a great benefit to updating to the W2 chip, I really don't see them updating AirPods yet. I see that as coming with the rumored high-end Apple over-the-ear headphones. Also, with no AirPower, there's no sense in releasing the updated charging case.

AirPower: Indefinite delay or cancelled. No way it's happening this year.

Mac Pro: This would be a pleasant surprise if they revealed it as they did iMac Pro, several months in advance, for it to ship in 2019. Of course I have no inside information on any of these products, but it feels like the time is about right to hear more about it.

iPads: We've already had leaks of components and mockups, so I fully expect a redesign in October. Hopefully an updated Mini too.

At this point, however, it's impossible to know anything for sure. It's also worth noting that Apple has become unpredictable as of late in regards to product updates (aside from iPhone). Some lines have gone for longer-than-usual periods without an update, so this is possible with iPads as well.

The time was right to hear more about it a year ago.

Seriously, who in the target market - i.e. actual pros who want to use it as part of a commercial workflow, and who's nMPs are overdue for replacement (possibly on a fixed cycle imposed by leasing or tax efficiency) - are still going to be waiting around for a fabled new "modular" Mac pro with unknown specifications and price, promised sometime in 2019 (which could mean not really available in quantity until early the following year as it did with the trashcan and the iMac Pro)...?

However, it seems possible that the "new Mac not-so-Mini with high-end components" rumours could refer to the Mac Pro (because that's roughly what you'd imagine a new Mac Pro would be, right?) - it seems unlikely that Apple would release a "Mac Mini Pro" if there were a new Mac Pro following closely on its heels - even though a fast i7/i9 headless Mac would be great, there's more money to be had persuading a fraction of those potential customers to shell for a $5k+ Mac Pro.

I thought the only difference with AirPods 2 would be added wireless charging and moved the light indicator to the exterior of the case, as the AirPower has been canceled due to overheating and coil interference issues I highly doubt they'll be releasing them soon. I don't believe there's going to be another event in October and all the new iPads and Mac Pros will be unveiled next year.

Air power is 'leaking' with issues, so since here hasan't been a set date, there won't be one i don't think.

It will be like "Ya,we know we stuffed up, so we'll put it back on the shelf"

New Mac's in October would be good . All the stuff that was left out. except Airpower. 3D touch under the screen also suffered technical issues too, and that never recovered.. What chance Apple got here with Airpower?

But if they can pull it off, they'll be the first.

Buy.

I bought my pair a month ago and love them. I use them between 5 and 8 hours every day. The battery life is impressive and they sound great. And there's a lot of freedom of movement you don't have with wired headphones.

I think there will definitely be iPad and Macbook. I am not sure if iMac, Mac mini redesign, Mac Pro and the Apple Monitor will come, simply because there aren't any rumours. May be those are for next year WWDC. Apple TV as well, used to rumours either an Apple TV set, or Apple TV with Airport built in.

I believe AirPod 2 should be announced with the Xs. Since it is not I doubt it will go with iPad and MacBook.

Apple have explicitly said that Mac Pro (and, by implication, the Apple Display) will be 2019 products (https://www.macrumors.com/2018/04/05/apples-revamped-mac-pro-to-launch-in-2019/) so the best you could hope for is a pre-announcement.

My guess (but that's all it is) for the Pro would be a preview at WWDC 2019 with availability in late 2019 (and actual stock in 2020) - because that's what happened with the 2013 Mac Pro and the iMac Pro before it (and if there's any novel architecture involved, they're going to want to start talking openly to third-party developers about it).

Looking at the Intel announcement, an iMac launch ~ March 2019 might make more sense if they're going to roll out 9th gen CPUs (or possibly a new design) across the range - only the CPUs that would match the top-end iMac options are scheduled for this October.

Then again, the lack of any October event, and no new iMacs until WWDC, wouldn't break the laws of physics (the rumours about new iPads and entry-level MacBooks seem a bit more substantial, though).

I had them once, but I returned them, this was back in the day when they got introduced new. I had my BOSE since then and now that they are broken I got the normal wire ones. I know that they are not bad, but I rathe wait a little more time and the MIGHT get a new instead of just buying right now.

Tough man, I don't know :D

3 events? It will be pushing it.
