Has anyone used an OCZ Vertex 4 SSD in a 2011 Mac Mini? If so, did you have to use TRIM enabler? What king of performance are you getting when benchmarking with Blackmagic Disk Speed Test?

I know there were some compatibility issues with the Vertex 3 series but the Vertex 4 uses a different controller.

I am looking and performing this upgrade and I am curious about other experiences.

I'm using a 256GB Vertex 4 hooked up externally with a Seagate GoFlex Thunderbolt drive adapter. I use TRIM enabler - not sure if I need to but I do anyway. Running the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test app, I get 254.5MB/s write and 356.6MB/s read speeds. No problems so far and I've had it for about 3 months. Great drive - I bought it at Microcenter during a sale - I think it was $179.
