I have a fairly new iMac that has been crashing lately. Not sure if it's due to software or hardware but this latest message seems to indicate it could be due to memory or a kernel issue? Anyone have anything similar to this report happen to them? Have 2 of my 4 memory slots in use with 32GB in each. I replaced the memory right after I purchased the machine. Thank you.

If you still have the factory-installed RAM
then
I'd take out the user-installed RAM and put the factory RAM back in
then
Run it that way for 3-5 days.

Do the crashes still happen...?

You could order some RAM that has free returns, and try it for a week (preferably Crucial "made for Mac" RAM). Then return the RAM if it makes no difference.

Try taking the ram out, then putting one back only and test it. If ok, then put the second one back and test.

It may be bad seating causing the problem.
