iPod Odd iPod Display Thingy

I came home today to my iPod on the dock and turned off, i turned it on and on the top portion of the screen was this thin black line thru it... With the backlight on you could see the whole display was kinda flickering and the line was visible with or without the backlight. About 1 hour later the line is gone but i was wondering if anyone else here has seen that behavior from their iPod? I have a 15GB 3G iPod (the one with a dock), i havent seen this before, i have apple care and im not afraid to use it if someone thinks its needed *shakes fist in air*

My ipod does this when it's restarting or if it is stuck while ejecting or restarting. Since it was in your dock, I'm not surprised by this. Your ipod is fine as far as I know. Is it stuck this way? Did you do a hard restart?

It dissapeared after around a hour (it may have been sooner but i didnt touch it for around an hour). When i saw it i did a hard restart and it still was there. time seemed to have made it go away. maybe just a glitch since youve seen it too Thanks!
