I originally posted this in the iPad forum, but I think it's more iOS related.

I've got an iMac, iPhone 6s Plus and an iPad Air 2 and just got a new iPad Pro. My new iPad Pro has an issue with showing numbers instead of names with Facetime and iMessage while I'm in Egypt. Currently, the contacts list has a mix of telephone numbers with country codes or just regular numbers. If the contact does not have full country code information, the iPad Pro shows the number when someone is calling. ALL other iDevices show the proper contact name. If the contact information has the country code, the iPad Pro shows the proper name.

1. All devices are connected to the same iCloud/Apple ID account.
2. All devices have the same Language and Region information. Even though I'm in the Egypt, I still have everything set to US. And again, the existing iDevices all work fine and show the name even though the contact information does not have the country code in it. It's only the iPad Pro that is doing this.
3. All iDevices are on 9.2 and the iMac is at 10.11.2

I thought there was a setting for default country information in contacts, but I don't know if I remember that correctly or not.

Any thoughts?

I see. The caller id is set to the telephone number of the iPhone which includes the country code. But it's like that on the Air as well. And I was referring to the people who call me. I see their names on the iPhone, iPad Air, and iMac

That is how it works. It all is based on what is set as caller ID. If someone has phone number as a caller id it is what what you will see when someone calls you.

Yet, the devises other than the Pro show the name. That's why I'm wondering if there is locale setting that I'm missing. All settings on the Air and the Pro look the same to me.
